This series had its start in 1985 when BGP # 1 was released to commemorate a concert at the Fillmore Auditorium by Rueben Blades. To date, over 400 posters have been issued in this series. Generally, BGP posters commemorate concerts by major acts at large venues (e.g. The Rolling Stones or the Grateful Dead at the Oakland Coliseum). Posters in this series are generally tougher to find than posters in the New Fillmore numbered series.
