Hapshash The Who I Can See For Miles Poster

This was a promotional poster for the release of The Who's "I Can See For Miles" as a single on Track Records. It became a top ten hit and is one of their most enduring songs. The poster shows the group dressed in fanciful clothes, at a high vantage point, invoking magical powers.

The screen printing technique used in this print is remarkable for its use of a double split fountain: one graduates from red to yellow, while another goes from gold to silver. This is a seldom used and extremely difficult process to master.
